1. – Zooming in- select the magnifying tool, or Ctrl +


– Zooming out- press the alt key, Ctrl –

– Grabber hand- press space bar, allows you to move around the picture while you are zoomed in.



2. Ctrl+R- creates guides, allows you to change a certain part of the picture.

The default colors are black as the foreground and white as the background, you can switch the colors of the foreground/background by double clicking one of the bigger sized boxes. To get default select one of the smaller boxes below the bigger ones.

This picture shows different sizes and colours of maple tree leaves.

Emphasis picture-

This picture displays emphasis. The pale white hands holding the red apple with a dark backround allows the veiwer to focus on the hands and what it is holding.

porportioned cookies

This picture is a good demonstartion of porportion because it shows 4 small cookies and 4 big cookies.

Rhythm picture

This picture repeats the squares and color by getting bigger and bigger. Gives this picture the effect that it is getting bigger andchanging its color.

Harmony painting

This painting is harmonized because there is space. It goes together because it is a picture of nature, with water, trees and a blue sky.

Nature creates a sense of harmony, was not man-made.

Symmetrical picture- BALANCE

This picture is symmetrical because if you cut it in half it would be the same. Like the image was mirrored.
